I met a guy this spring when I was staying at Northern Pines on Butternut who has a place on Blockhouse, he said the fishing was good there for action on bass and pike, so we went over to give it a try. We had a great day, catching lots of pike (mainly small) and a couple of nice largemouths. I am heading up this weekend and was going to go over to Blockhouse for a half day or so, any advice on how to fish this lake? We just drifted down the middle, casting any direction with spinner baits and caught pike, the bass were holding close to shore. I heard there are some big pike and even some musky in this lake, any ideas how I can target bigger fish? Location on the lake, depth, presentation? Thanks guys,

Was up there late this fall. The weeds are so thick you can walk across the lake.
The deepest spots are only 6' deep. I would try some smaller suicks or some glide baits.
