Sorry for the late reports but wanted to share some pictures from my ice guide outings that took place in February and the being of March. I spent the majority of my time on the Fox Chain but also did some fishing for northerns on Eagle Lake in Racine county.

I read in the Chicago Tribune this morning that after March 1st, they will be breaking up the ice in Belmont harbor to get the barges out.

Supposedly they use to break it up all the time for the barges, but now they leave it be for the fishermenand women to ice fish there.

So get your ice fishing in now
