ESCANABA - An ice breaking tug from Basic Marine will be breaking ice in local waters Tuesday morning. The tug will be traveling from the Basic Marine dock in Escanaba to Green Bay. Ice anglers, snowmobilers and others using the ice for recreation are asked to use caution when venturing out.
