3rd day including Gerald landing 3 Trophy Smallmouth Bass measuring 18,18.5, & 19-inches, & he also caught a large Pike. Returning for his 4th visit was Charlie McDermid from Broomfield, CO with Anita Brower from Rocklin, CA. Charlie was here for the Musky hunt & Anita was in awe of the atmosphere while learning the technique of lake fishing. Anita is more accustom to fly-fishing in rivers & streams. Having such well-rounded personalities they made fiends in the dinning room instantly enjoying conversation & many laughs. They also did well fishing having a lot of Northern Pike action while pursuing that Muskie of a lifetime. One of their fishing days they saw that Muskie not once but three times following there lures a teasing them as Musky tend to do to Muskie fishers. They continued to catching plenty of Pike but that Trophy Musky eluded them & won this round, to be continued at another time. Both left with hugs and thoroughly enjoying their stay with us at Fireside Lodge.
