TFF Update

Back out on Thursday with yet another day of bright sky's, warm temps and very little breeze at best. First time guests on the flowage, husband and wife, Tom and Carol were in awe of what they saw for the very first time, and the fishing didn't let them down. Getting an early morning start, we started out working a couple of rocky deep water areas with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads and came up empty except for one 11 inch crappie. We then moved to the 10 foot flats with submerged stumps and here we hit pay dirt. Switching to extra large leeches, we immediately found the eyes relating to the stumps and within 3 hours we caught several eyes with 9 being good keepers. With an hour left on our half day trip, we decided to try for bluegills, but the only problem was that we had no crawlers with us, what we done was to cut our extra large leeches into 1/2 inch chunks and give them a try, wow, it worked as we pulled 11 nice gills from the cribs. A great morning and a great time for my guests as well as this old boy.
