Hey Ty -
Quick question do you figure 8 your pacemaker on the top of the water or dive it just below the surface when you have a follow. Caught nice 40" on Sunday that ate about 10' out then doubled back on the spot when a nice mid forties followed me up to the boat - I ducked it under the surface and it turned on it but wouldn't commit. Just curious gotta get back out with you...

Hey Joe,
I usually try to read the fish more than anything. If the fish is high in the water then I stay on top but if it's low then I dive it down. The most important part is to turn the bait about five to ten feet out to make them commit. It's hard to get one to eat topwater on a figure eight.
