Thursdays walleye action was once again very good. Starting out in the same area as the day before, 10 feet of water over scattered submerged stumps, my guest Roger and I found action but not as good as the day before. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads, we found a few eyes with only 1 being a keeper. Our next two stops were on 8 foot deep stumpy humps and here we found 5 eyes with only 2 being keepers. Our next and last move for our half day trip was deep water, 15 to 17 foot over mud bottom with some scattered submerged stumps. With a high bright sky along with very little wind, the eyes were here and on a good bite. After a few casts with hits and misses, we switched over to 1/2 crawler and our catch rate really increased. We boated 4 eyes here with 3 being very nice size along with 1 big jumbo perch. Special note, after cleaning Wednesdays catch of eyes, all of them but one were full of bugs and mud while one had a bluegill in it.

Back out today for another half day trip, will keep you posted.
