Wednesdays action was awesome to say the least as my quest and good friend Jim Z had continued action from the very first stop to the last spot. Starting out in 10 feet of water over submerged stumps, we found active eyes, using Reeves weedless jigs with fatheads, we boated our limits of very nice eyes and released many others in just an hour of fishing. We then switched to lighter jigs tipped with 1/2 crawler and hammered 19 jumbo perch along with 1 big crappie. These panfish were all in about 4 feet of water and relating to weeds mixed with lots of stickups. We were on our way home by 1:15, talk about a great morning of fishing.
