I finally had time to begin reading the April/May edition of Musky Hunter Magazine this morning and was amazed at the research article written by Jordan Weeks pertaining to Great Lakes Muskies. The 6th paragraph mentions the documentation of "successful downstream musky movements OVER Niagara Falls"!

I bet the guys who have been chasing these critters for over 30 years have a hard time believing just how far muskies will travel. I have only been at this game for 20 years or so and when I first started reading about them, the common thought was that they were loners for the most part and would stay in a particular area until she was harvested or died of old age. This thought process sure has changed!

I really enjoy reading the research articles and hope they continue to be published in MHM.

Yep, I read that one too and thought it was really interesting. I'm a big fan of the research articles also. Along those same lines, I watched a YouTube clip of some Musky trap netting taking place on a lake in Eastern PA last night. Thats the first time I've seen that done and thought it was pretty cool to see that side of things too.

It was very interesting red. I read it at work. I will read it again to try to understand it more. Maybe the muskies saw the guy going over the falls in a barrel, and said "hey, worked for him". " lets give it a shot".. Boats, jet skies, a lot has gone over... Anyway. Yes. Good article.

I am sure most of you have seen the Wingra Dam musky migration one at some point over the years but just in case we have some 'newbees' on here:
