Monday afternoon I was bringing Jordan, the new Director of Dock Operations, out to Oak when he shot this footage. We are on the deteriorating ice road heading east towards Mergen's Point. Now you don't have to ask what it looks like out here.

Was that a Minn Kota? Runs a little noisy but it's powerful.

Wow that was cool to see, you know that you have been there a few times but just getting glimpses of the land and knowing exactly where you are at. Don't work him too hard Frank, break him in SLOW so he does not wear out. Never mind, screw that idea, put the wood to him. ;)

Minnesota opener today. Weather beautiful, but for some reason, nobody here. I managed to get out for a few hours. Not fast and furious, but caught some nice fish. And finally, an auger not required.
