I keep getting calls concerning the conditions on the lake, it is great - cold but driving conditions are very good. Ice is reported at 20-25" in most places deeper in others. Fishing has been good, they come and go as fish do, but are being caught. The Cass Lake winter fishing challenge is being setup for this Saturday on the south end, they have been plowing and are preparing for an average of 400 anglers in the event. Roads are plowed but you can easily get over them to go where you want, still have some snow drifts that will slow you down.
