Down on this south end of Cass Lake, our fishermen are reporting 17" of ice and the perch are biting on minnows, at 5 feet. Pretty aggressive 8-11 then slow down, pick up again about 4. They are throwing back the 9" perch to stay within their limit. no word on walleye at this time.
We have our sleeper house out sitting on about 10' - Waynes been out twice. He is seeing some nice ones fro that location as well.
