The neighboring resort has it's shacks out and roads are being plowed even though they aren't needed just yet. You can drive just about anywhere out there as you can see with this picture looking out toward Cedar Island.21692
Looking south toward Hwy 2 is the biggest population. Perch are biting and a few walleye have been reported late in the day. Ice is 16+ last reported and no one is seeing any slush in these areas lately. Snow blew to the south end and the launch off Hwy 2 can't be used. I talked to a couple of local guys and they are telling me that Pike bay has trucks and roads most places. 21694 looking south
