Hay all what has been going on up north. after Blues great picture post we have not heard from anybody. whats the good word .

There is still open water and the TFF is only 1' below full pool. The die hard anglers that dress warm are reporting pretty good fishing success on walleye in the old river channels. There has been some skim ice in the morning on the slow portions of the Flambeau River.
Donners Bay is closed until Nov. 21st, but you can still get gas when they are home. Everyone else is open and greeting grouse and bow hunters, along with the die hard anglers. Obviously, we locals also need to check on these watering holes in order to post reports! LOL
The Justin Donner Memorial Ice Fisheree will be Jan. 25, 2014 at Donners Bay.
The TFFA Ice Fisheree will be Feb. 22nd at Donners Bay. Tickets are on sale now!

A buddy of mine and I went out twice on Friday & this morning. We got some walleyes, nice crappies, and small perch, Friday. Spent the majority of the time fishing for muskies but didn't land any either day.
Water temp was around 38 both days.
