I had Amanda and Chris from Deerfoot out yesterday. Amanda started the morning out with a follow at the first spot. It went around for a while in the figure eight and then took off. I had one nip at my Bulldawg right after that as I was pulling it out of the water. Just a little one thankfully. No figure eight. Kind of surprised me. Chris caught one on a Fuzzy Shumway quick set rig. That one was 40 inches. We fished hard the rest of the day and Amanda caught some big northerns but no more muskies to show for our efforts. Amanda did do an eagle call on a pike hit by the boat. It was a yelp/shriek that I don't believe I've heard a human make. Chris was also trying to call in the muskies with his whale calls. All in all a great time with the new owners of Deerfoot.
