October 10th through 12th fishing report

I had some great new clients this week and we caught a few fish and lost a few. All of the fish we caught and saw were mid thirty inch fish. We didn't get the larger fish to show up. I did miss one on a Pacemaker that might have been a good fish. Pretty bad hookset on my part.

water temps are finally starting to go down. Yesterday water temps were at 58 to 59 degrees. We had most of our fish on Bulldawwgs. For some reason they aren't touching suckers. Water temps must still be too warm.

Ty, how is the availability of suckers? I usually hit D&B toward the end of Oct. for 15-20.

I wouldn't count on getting suckers but I think as of now the shops have a few. The last two weeks there have been no suckers available anywhere around here. I bought mine from far far away and paid dearly for them. I'm starting to wonder if I'm making any money in the fall.
