TFF Update

The past several days have seen some fantastic action from both walleye and crappies, and yesterday was one day to remember for new clients/friends Brian and Ann. Working the same areas that I've been having great success on during the past week paid off big time with active fish on every spot. Using 1/8 ounce jigs tipped with medium large fatheads, we either vertical jigged or casted and with a very slow retrieve worked the deep rocks and sharp drop offs. Some areas the fish were holding tight to the bottom while in others they were suspended a few feet off the bottom. Doing just a half day trip worked out well as boated around 20 eyes and roughly 50 crappie, 26 of which exceeded the 10 inch minimum size limit.
