I am going to buy a new floater jacket for this fall's trolling season. Any suggestions on what to get or what not to get?
Thanks.

I like the Helly Hsnsen line the best. Think they are only available in Canada, so had to order from the HH factory. Very waterproof, and lots of nifty features.

Nothing wrong with Mustang, or the high end Stearns products either. Here's a good source for these products.

The Helly Hansen products may not be U.S. Coast Guard approved, so may not count as a life jacket if you are checked on a U.S. lake. Definitely Canada Coast Guard approved.

Rick:
I like my Sterns. Check E-Bay, sometimes you can find a good deal on there. That's where I got mine for around 1/2 retail.
