TFF Update

Huge cold front slowed down the action somewhat yesterday, but crappie and walleye for the most part were on a fairly decent bite. My clients and I spent the morning hours working various cribs with 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium fatheads and ended catching a good number of crappie, problem was the majority came up a little short of the 10 inch minimum size limit. We did manage to put a decent amount of keepers in the well along with 6 walleye for a bonus. Tried some crawlers, but no action on them, seems the big gills and jumbo perch were on their Labor Day vacation, or just hiding from the wind and cold rain. Bob, it was a pleasure fishing with you and the boys yesterday, and looking forward to seeing you again in the future.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
