Monday's walleye and panfish action remained on the good side. Yesterday, my two clients and I doing a 6 hour trip worked just off the edges of some mid lake humps and came up with some very nice eyes along with a couple of throw back smallies. Using 1/8th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either 1/2 crawler or extra large fatheads, we pretty much crawled our presentation across the bottom, seems like we had to stir up a little mud to get their attention, and it worked, just had to put up with a few more snags than usual. As far as the panfishing went, we found crappies, perch and bluegills on all our stops as we vertical jigged some cribs with 1/16 ounce jigs tipped with a 2 inch piece of crawler, always a bonus when one can take home a bunch of panfish along with their walleye. Thanks Pastor John and Bill, had a great time out there with you. Also thanks to the wonderful owners of Joe Miller's Cottages for setting up this trip, a beautiful day.
