Jon and Katy from Appleton were out with me this morning on "The Rock". The morning started fairly calm but cool. The winds picked up out of the northwest about mid-morning and it got a bit choppy. Jon wanted to get a few locations to go jigging so we did that for the first 3 hours then trolled. The main lake is loaded with floating weeds and marsh grass and it is nearly impossible to keep the baits clean. The Buckhorn area out from the Turtle is not to bad. We finished with 1 "keeper", a bunch of "shorties", 2 crappies, and catfish. Not one white bass today.
