Greetings from witch bay,
It’s been an exciting week of fishing with summer patterns now fully developed. Walleyes of good numbers and size are being caught on midlake humps and points from 18 to 28 feet. Water temps have dropped to a 70 degree average with recent steady precipitation and cooler air temperature. This has turned muskies that have been following into willing attackers. This change has also pushed bigger pike back up into the shallows to feed. Bass are still relating to shorelines although we have come into contact with some on shallower underwater structures while jigging for walleyes. Till the next report, hope to see you on the water! Marc and Brad

We had a great week. We boated over 400 fish, with 75% of them walleyes. Largest fish caught was two 27 inch fish and another 26 inch fish. We primariy pulled spninners with leeches or crawlers at 18 to 30 feet. We caught most of our fish at 23 to 24 feet. Fish were extremely aggressive. Lots of nice "jumbo perch" also caught. It was just a great week. Looking forward to next year at Witch Bay
