Kakagi (Crow) Lake mostly pushing into the 60's for surface temperatures this week.

Muskie - Opener has been pretty good with near 100 Muskie's caught this week already by guests. Biggest caught so far has been a handful of 48" - 48 1/2" Muskies. Some sightings of Muskies coming in to spawn are still being reported. Hoping early next week we should be getting some pictures posted on Facebook.

Northern Pike - Whitefish Bay, Jessie and Kakagi have been the hot spots - I think every Muskie boat has caught a few nice Pike on Kakagi already this week - 46", 42" and 38"... not bad for a lake with NO PIKE :-)

Lake Trout - still scattered across the water column, but the warmer surface temps starting to push them deeper. Bite should improve as they progress deeper.

Bass - lots of reports of BIG spawning Bass now appearing on Kakagi in the warmer bays, most of the cooler bays still not seeing the bass yet. Jessie Lake has been very good for Bass with some "rookies" reporting back they caught a fish on almost every cast.

Walleye - a few accidental being caught on LOTW and a 7.5 and 8 pound Walleye caught late last week.

Weather has been super with highs in the mid 70's and cool evenings... have not seen much rain gear this month.

Swimming and water play increasing daily.

Regards,
