Fathers Day is Sunday, Go fishing with Dad!

Hot bite this week has been Bluegills, all the area lakes have a very good bite. Shallow water to maybe 4 feet. 1/64 oz ball head jig with a waxie for bait below a small bobber.

Crappies, morning hours and late afternoon hours are best. Look for the Crappies to be just outside of the weed edges. Small spinners, #3 Rapalas or the good ol crappie minnow are all working well. Daytime most fish are deeper and a cubby jig below a slip bobber working well.

Perch are in and around the weed beds, bigger minnows are prefered also nice fish caught on Roadrunner Jigs (white).

Walleye are weed related, Best bite is at 6 to 9 pm. Slip bobbers with leeches are HOT!!! Some nice fish caught by the trestles during mid day. Morning hours work the shallow gravel bars with Thundersticks.

Pike, slow.

Muskies, Glide and Jerkbaits are still producing the best, Weighted Suicks are still the Hot Bait! Deep Phantoms working well also. Fish deeper than normal this time of year.

Bass, spinners for Largemouths and dressed jigs for Smallies (Bass Nuts). Good late morning bite.
Good Luck
Dave
