Saturday was a heartbreaker. We had a giant four feet from going in the net and then we lost it. Sunday we casted and trolled. The fish were on a small lake concentrated near the thickest cabbage.
The lakes are in different stages. On Bemidji fish can still be seen spawning with 52+ degree water temp. On Planet fish are about a week or ten days post spawn with 57+ degree water temp. On Little Wolf fish are in the cabbage with 63 degree water temp. The cabbage here is the best and fullest I have seen.
I absolutely love my new Tuffy 2060. It handles much like my Ranger 620T but is much faster with the 150 Yamaha.
Another tool that I added this year is a Humminbird 1198. It is incredible and has helped my find emerging cabbage weeds and also suspended tulibees. I have a feeling it will be worth its weight in gold on Cass this year.
I have a few early season trips that are available in the month of June. If you are interested please get in contact with me.
