Hi everyone,

Guided Robin and David from New York City today for a half day. Robin had never done any fishing like this before and on her first cast caught her first ever walleye. We had a really enjoyable time catching lots of fish for the afternoon. Wound up catching 7 walleyes keeping one, northerns, crappie,sm.bass and Robin caught her first ever perch, a 10"er. Exciting to say the least.

We caught everything on jigs and minnows. With Robin never having jigged fish before. I taught her a simple way to learn jigging and she was a pro by the time we were done. We enjoyed mostly sunny skies with a chill to the air on a SouthWest wind. Just enough wind to make an excellent walleye chop. the water temps were 59 to start but lowered to 56 in just four hours. We caught all the fish in woody cover. Most spots were deep, the others were fairly shallow. Lots of boaters out there so be safe. Good luck fishing everyone.
