May 20th fishing report

I had Don and Debbie Heman out yesterday and we fished for bass the whole time. We tried smallmouth in the morning and really struggled. We ended up with five or six smallies and one nice walleye. In the afternoon we fished for largemouth bass and did much better. I'm not sure how many we had but it was a good time. The largemouth were hitting way better for some reason
. We mostly threw plastic worms for the largemouth because they were up pretty shallow.

Thanks, Ty...great time, as usual. Since we are going back out next year, I will make sure that I continue to perfect my "Bassmasters" hook set. I would expect a set or two of fish jaws to be flying back at us in the boat next May. I will also make sure that Debbie continues to catch all the big fish.
