With the increasing warm water on Lake Delavan the fishing has been greatly improving. Most of the largemouth bass have spawned some are still in water as shallow as three feet. I have found them in water twelve to fourteen feet deep along the deeper weed lines. The best presentation has been casting slow falling sink type plastic worms in shallow water and split shot rigged crawler in the deeper weeds.

Northern Pike have been active feeding often and as much as possible. The best presentation has been small to medium suckers drifted below a Large Thrill big fish bobber keep the bait above the weeds or outside weedlines.

Walleye have been active in the shallow water four to eight feet at night. Best presentation has been casting a jig/minnow/twister tail or husky jerk crank baits were weeds are not a problem. During the day slow trolling/drifting a lindy rigged night crawler or leech has been working along the deep weed lines.

Crappies are in two stages some have spawned, some are about to spawn. The best presentation has been casting 1/16 to 1/64 Oz. jig/Plastics or jig/minnow combo. We have been seeing most of are action in eight feet of water catching mostly those that have spawned all ready.
