Both bluegills and crappie have been biting well on the chain last time out we caught over 100 keeping 72 for their fish fry. With the recent weather warming than cooling the water it seems to be holding off their spawning till the next warm up. Both species have been caught suspended over deep water and in water as shallow as four feet. Small jigs, plastics,gulp minnows or Big Red worms suspended below a bobber has worked the best.
