Glory Days

Well winter is gone and, while it is late, spring is here. I got Glory Days out for the first time this year. Joining me today were two long time very good friends. Most of you know Jerry (My Boy)and John Ebs (a HS and College friend).
We met at So Shore at 7 am. The piers were in and were a beautiful site! We traveled out the Fair Weather Gap and put down the lines in 25' to 30' of water. Our trolling speed was hard to maintain, but I would guess we averaged about 2.3mph. We used 2,3 and 4 color leadcore board lines and had dipsys and downriggers as well. The colors of the day were Stinger NBK, Trixee Chartreuse and Green tiger and of course a Moonshine Razorburn!
We ended the day 9 for 10. We had 4 Red Fins (largest was 14# 2 oz), and 5 Browns (largest was 10# 8oz). We estimated the total weight of the 9 fish was between 75 # and 80#. My cooler was full!
It was a very memorable way to start 2013 to say the least! Good Fishing to All!
All the Best,
