Andrew Butchart from Holton Michigan stopped by the shop Thursday with a 31 inch, 10 pound 9 ounce walleye he got that morning. He caught it on a #9 Clown Jigging Rap in the upper bay in about 20 FOW. He said his group did very well jigging Thursday. Hopefully that's a sign that the bite has finally turned on.
This is turning out to be a very expensive fishing trip for him, since he also caught a 13 inch perch the day before, that weighed a pound and a half, and both fish are going on the wall.
