As you see with pictures, River is now open from the dam to south of chamberlain. Does not take long with 40 + mph winds. No boat ramps in Chamberlain open yet, but would not expect it to be long. Probably later this week. There are some nice fish being caught.

Looks like some good fish being caught. Do you guys always allow your clients to keep the females? You would think as Guide that depends on the future fishery to make a living, you would be more concerned about this. With as many clients you guys take out during this time of year, don't you think it would be beneficial to keep the males rather than the females? There is no reason why we as fisherman do things that will hamper the the future fishery while it is avoidable. I am very aware that this body of water has a very good population of walleyes. But can you imagine what type of fishery this place would be if everyone did the right thing?

State law says that they can keep one fish over 20 per person. It is up to the individuals in boat rather they keep them or not. Some do some do not. No different than the average fisherman. Not all pics are from our customers.
