Red - There used to be a website by the USGS that showed the projected outflow from the dam for the next day. When I go to that site, it says it's not longer there. Do you know of a new website to look at this information. I'm from down around Butler so I hate making a trip if the levels change significantly from day to day. I keep up on the current conditions but like knowing the expectation for the following day.

The site I think you are talking about no longer exists, unfortunately. The site I have been using the past several months is this one:

http://waterdata.usgs.gov/pa/nwis/uv?site_no=03012550

It does not have a predicted discharge option but if you call 814.726.0164, you can get a 3-day forecast via the recording.

Good Luck!

Here is the one I use... very similar to the one Red posted. This same site predicts water levels for several days at other locations, but not Warren for some reason. That really sucks.

Currently, the Kinzua discharge is 1030 which is low. Outboard jets will not be able to navigate the stretch from the dam to Starbrick at this level.

Be careful!
