it was brought to my attention several times about some conflict with late April/May tournament dates that have been scheduled for Akron/Canton - Cleveland - Central Ohio.
As it stands currently:
April 13th OMTT Piedmont
April 20-21 Central Ohio John Fisher Memorial at Clearfork
April 27-28 Saltfork Chapter Challunge
May 4-5 Minnow fundraiser tournament at Saltfork
The problem is, if you are a Central Ohio member, thats 3-4 weekends straight which isn't practical for most of us. They would have to pick which event(s) to attend.
It had been requested that we may move the Chapter Challunge to the 4th and 5th holding it on the same day as the Minnow fund raiser. (Which has always been the original Challunge date for the past several years)
This would make it easier for the Central guys and other chapters to attend the challunge and participate in the minnow fundraiser also.
I feel if we don't do this, one or more events will suffer on attendance and folks will be forced to choose which event to attend. The idea is have both events on the same day, have a big turnout, have our challunge, and raise money for the minnow fund. This way Muskies Inc will be well repesented for this fundraiser. And, there is no fee for the Challunge.
