Was out of Gladstone near the shantys. Marked a few fish. Lost a large Walleye at the hole and missed a couple more. Also caught a Northern. Tried alot of baits and techniques. Most productive bait was a pink and white stop sign ( a favorite on LOTW) and a clown (7) rap. Heard the bite has been tough so I downsized baits............Bad idea. When I started using bigger baits with an aggressive jigging action the fish responded. If I slowed my jigging action too much they would just sink back down. Hope this helps someone.
Also..............if anyone finds 1 black frabill gauntlet I would sure like to get it back. Let me know if you find it. Left it laying on my trailer when I left from the Gladstone landing.
