I know this isn't really the forum to ask this questions, but I'm sure the Mercer/Iron County locals would have valuable inside knowledge. Our cabin (located on the TFF) is made of horizontal full round cedar logs, about 10 - 12 inches in diameter. Some are rotting and need replacing. Anybody know anyone or a reliable outfit who can replace cedar logs in a cabin? Thanks. Have fun fishing this winter.

We suggest you contact Scott Tomek who is a masonry contractor. His phone number is 715.476.3820. He does not do this work, but works with someone that does do it.

Good Luck with the project.

Niel Schuka @715-356-1883 in Minoqua does log repair. He was recomended by the guy from Mercer Log Homes (Tom?). I can't vouch for his work as he has not done anything for me yet.
