Waht a bunch of crazy weather with Hericane SANDY!! We got out last Sat. with the big boat for Kings & Steelhead. We had 25 fish on and landed 12. 7 Steelhead, 2 CoHos & 3 Kings. The Steelies were the best running around 12lbs. We fished 100-200ft. straight out of the cannal with a 300-310 return. Fish were all up in the upper 50ft. of water, Dipseys, Leadcores and Downriggers working the best. Mostly spoons but we had a few on white dodgers and aqua flys. We found smaller fish out further in deeper water like 300-350ft.
Don't know what SANDY has done but we had some 20ft. waves on Lake Michigan and some 10-12ft. on the bay out of the North. Hopefully the fish will settle down and so will the wind and we still can get in some good Walleye and Smallie fishing.
