Out the past weekend to say it was a little cold is an understatement, the paddle board racers doing the Fontana to Black Point race we came across made us think it was warmer than it really was! The clients a couple celebrating their anniversary caught 1 largemouth bass and 11 smallmouth bass lots of small perch in less than three hours before we got chilled off. The biggest smallmouth was 18 inches. The best location was in front the Military Academy, Fontana Beach, and we fished by the Yacht Club as well. The best depth was 22-25 ft of water. All caught on large fathead minnows.
