Jeff from Cottonville, WI joined me for a morning on the river. Started off really foggy, we could only see maybe 100 yards. Pulled flies tipped with fathead minnows and half of a crawler along the buoy line near Chester to start the day. Only had 6 "shorties", and 2 bluegill. The fog lifted about 10 am so we could see good enough to run down by the mouth of the river. Pulled cranks until 12:30 and finished the trip with 2 "keepers", 1 in the slot, 24 "shorties, 22 big white bass, 1 crappie, 2 bluegill, 1 smallmouth, and 1 spotted musky.:)
