Hi everyone,

Fished most of the day today under a hazy sunshine sky with some threatening clouds toward evening, but it never rained. Had a moderate southwest wind all day that provided relief from the 80+ degree air temps. The water temps are at 76 degrees.

Caught 5 walleye-2 on weight forward spinners in weeds and three on woody humps with jig and leech. Also had a lot of fun with the bass, both LGM. amd smallies. Caught them in the weeds mostly with weight forward spinners. some on a jig and leech. Rounded out the day with a bunch of small perch and a horde of bluegills all on jigs and leeches. Had bobber rigs out, but nothing touched them.

My lead free weight forward spinners are working great. I had a small problem with them earlier in the season and didn't have time to work on them much until now. The problem is solved and not only do they work like they should, but they catch a lot of fish from bass to walleye. Good luck fishing everyone.
