Hey Guys!

Well the fishing has picked up lately with the water temp dropping. The cool nights and rain has helped alot. Some fish action has slowed, but the walleye and muskie bite has picked up the last few days.

Walleye are doing well on the deeper flats and around bridges or trestles. Leeches, large fatheads, and crawlers jigging them right off of the bottom in these areas are producing nice fish! We already have seen a 25", 27 1/2", and a 29" just this week!

Musky have become active with the recent weather change also. Topwater is still working, but the better action seems to be on jerk and glide baits. Bucktails always produce fish too!

Crappie are feeding near the surface. Small crappie minnows, beetlespins, and small tubes have been working.

Bluegill are basically feeding the same as they were. Bobber set up with a leaf worm has been the best.

Northern Pike you wanna throw mepps and larger spinner baits. The bite has slowed slighty for these guys.

Well, good luck and I'll see you on the water!

What's the word on Lake Alice? We are heading up next Wednesday. We will be stopping by the shop for more lures and bait.
