Walleye fishing has been good in the Western Basin of Lake Erie. We have been drift fishing with may fly rigs in or around the western basin reefs on days when wind and waves permit. Nice 15 " to 22 " Walleyes are being caught. On calm days we are trolling in the deeper water of 27 to 28 ft near the gravel pit using Michigan Stingers at 50 ft to 60 ft back. Our last trip out we took 22 Walleye for a 4 person Charter. Mike took a day and drift fished over by the Bass Islands casting weight forward lures in shallow water and the boat caught 42 nice 2 to 4 lb. Walleyes. Call us for your favorite dates. Ron & Mike
