Water temp are in the low 80's and fishing has been on and off lately. Muskies have been hit and miss but a couple of patterns have been working. First is the shallow weed bite in 12 feet of water or less in and around weeds or weed edges. Bucktails, topwaters, and crankbaits have all been working. Concentrate on wind blown weeds and keep plugging away. The second pattern is the open water pattern in 14 feet of water or more. Bulldawgs, deep diving crankbaits both have been working. Use your electronics and look for balls of bait fish, once you have found bait fish start casting through and around them. Best bite has been early morning or late evening, with some action in between.
