If you haven't been out chasing the LSC muskie, now is the time to do so. The muskie have been red hot and the action is only going to get better. We have been busy chasing them muskie and have had good numbers and size to match. Lots of areas producing fish. If you are staying on the U.S. side work both sides of the channel from just south of the St.Clair light down towards the firecracker. We fished in there on Thursday, July 12 and managed to take a very nice 53"er that was a solid fish. The walleye have been caught in limits so stick to those natural colors. If you a have your Canadian license try working that mid lake area focusing around the weather buoy and to the south. The big bucktails have been hit or miss for us, but always keeping a couple in the mix. Running Lokes, Ziggies and H2O's in natural colors have been the ticket for us. Olive frog and st.lawrence are always a favorite color. Find the baitfish and work that area over. Weeds have been spotty but really not to bad. We have also have some good reports that deep off Stoney Point/Ruscum has also been producing some nice fish. We will be back at it tomorrow and then again all weekend. Hope to see you out there! Good luck and good fishing.
