New one by me. None of my dealers have it yet. Might have to wait until next years open water season before it will be available.

It will be available sometime in December for a paltry $799.

I just received an email from Minn Kota about the I Pilot Link:

The I-Pilot Link is not compatible with I-Pilot components so you will be buying the complete accessory. The 798 needs to be a 798 HD (2011, 2012) to be ethernet compatible (ethernet is the communication method used for the I-Pilot Link; a 798 HD requires an adapter "dongle" to connect to ethernet). The follow contour feature will require a new Lakemaster Chip (next years, it is not available yet).

So the cost will be a min. of $1000, $800 for the IPilot Link, $150 for new LakeMaster Chip, and what ever the "dongle" costs, and maybe an upgraded sonar unit.

I do have the 798HD- thank goodness, but my current IPilot module will have to be replaced and so will my Lakemaster Chip (new this year)
