Cooler weather this week has made it more comfortable for anglers to stay on the water longer.

Water temps in the low 80's, very good weed growth.

Walleyes still weed related, morning and evening hours are still best, crankbaits are the hot baits. Rapala's, Salmos or Wally Divers. Daytime hours fish deep with jigs and leeches.

Bass, very good action most on wacky worms.

Largemouth, spinnerbaits or twitch baits work along 6 foot weed lines.

Muskie action is good with several fish registered this week caught on jerk baits.

Bluegill, Lake Alice the hot lake with nice fish related more to the stumps then weeds.

Crappie action is fair but the size is very good. 14" plus fish registered. With a 15.5 slab out of the Spirit Flowage. Beetlespins are hot. Evening hours best time.

Good Luck
Dave
