Hot Hot and really Hot. Temps in the low 90's making it tough to stay out in the afternoon hours to fish. You want to be on the water early morning or late afternoon.
Best walleye bite has been right before the sunsets. Nokomis is the Lake to fish for some nice catches. Rapala Shad Raps fished along the weedlines catching fish up to 27 inches this week.Slip bobbers and leeches fished in the weed pockets also been producing nice fish.

Smallies are deep, Tubes are still hot, use dark colors and fish the rock and gravel bars.

Largemouth Bass. Deep weedy points are holding nice fish, Rapala Rattlin Raps or deep running spinners.

Pike, try creepers, jitterbugs and mini whopper ploppers. Fish are active in the morning hours, work the bays with good weed cover.

Muskie action this week was fair, large spinnerbaits or bucktails along with some topwater action. Some fish in the 30 to 44 inch size.

Crappies, deep, small jigs with gulp minnows with a slip bobber slowly worked back to the boat. Crappies are suspended over wood structures. Largest Crappie this week is a 14.5 inch out of Nokomis.

Not much to report on the Bluegills this week.

Good Luck
Dave
