Fishing on the madison lakes has been good. The bass bite was good catching 12 in less than two hours We also caught a few keeper sized 7 ½” to 8 ½” bluegills and crappie action was good early in the week, but the action has slowed. We have had 38”, 36” Musky and 28” walleye in the net. Because many of the clients are not seasoned musky anglers the best presentation has been trolling spinner combos and deep diving crankbaits over deeper water next to structure. We saw a couple of nice musky casting just could not get any to bite before we got tired. The bass have been biting well on split shot, drop shot crawlers & finesse, senko type plastic worms in and along the clumps of weeds 8-15 ft. of water.
