Getting ready for camping next week and noticed that the site formally known as C12 just south of Long Island is not listed on the newest map. Did this site get wiped out in the storm and close down?

Yes, C-12 got wiped out in the tornado, along with 5 other sites; however, 6 new sites were created in different areas.

Do you by chance know where these others are located? im a little worried i will not get a spot in mid june

All the new sites are shown on the latest edition of the map. Two were placed just outside Sportsmans Landing and three or four were placed on the Turtle River. If you need a map, you can contact the Mercer DNR at 715-476-2240 or go to www.turtleflambeauflowage.com and request one on line.

"F" sites have picnic tables, "R" sites do not. A1 has some kind of accessibility features - haven't seen it, but I assume it's a flat gravel path to the water which is what they did at B3-B8. Those are group sites that are reservable for a fee, G1-G2 are the first-come group sites.
