The Walleye action at night and during the day is still going. Can't wait for the limit to go up to five in May 1st Sat. the Bass are really getting active even late in the evening think water warming up has alot to do with that. They are right where we catch the Walleyes. Smithwicks in the 4 1/2 inch size has been the ticket 100ft.-150ft. back pulled right off the side of the boat and is it fun when they hit while you hold the rod. Blue/Silver or Gold/Black has been a good baits in the 4 1/2inch size. Guys running lighted boards at night and hogging the area - guys that is not very polite or sportsman like. If you have to run them run two or three off one side of the boat towards shore so the rest can fish too without being pushed into deep water where the fish are not biting as good.
I've been down to the Fox River over the weekend the action has been a little slow but not bad. Water temp was 58 degrees on the Fox and 54 on the Monominee. The Monominee River was alot better. The ride across isn't bad either the weather has been cooperating. Fat Head minnows have been the order of the day. Crawlers will start working better soon as it warms up.
Brown Trout action is still good both on the bay and the lake with some nice Browns being taken on crank baits like Smithwicks Gold/Black is pretty good.
Good Luck Everybody
